After seeing this enormously powerful performance, to me, it felt like, yes, definitely one of her best performances. I completely relate to your feelings. She is such a great singer, performer and actor. FYI: Floor did follow a year of education in a school of performing, and she did gave performing classes herself after that. Who knows, maybe some day, she will get an invitation to play a character in a movie. I would love to see her performing in a grand musical as well. This woman is just amazing, she can do it all...

Regarding your question about the writing credits for this song: Lyrics by Floor Jansen, Music is credited to the entire band. As there are severals songs where only two or three members are explicitly credited for the music I gues this one's music truly was a collaborative effort.

I'm almost going after the known phrase: "The best Nightwish/ Floor Jansen song is the I just heard...", but in this case I must go to latest published version of "Slow, Love, Slow". Mature woman singing that in soft jazzy style (I count is as that, without any xperience) - it is this far the most enchanting I've heard her perform 💜💜

Floor's Beste Zangers solo "Shallow" is still my personal favorite, but THIS perfromance is running a VERY close second...it could take over first place once I watch it as many times as the Shallow video...(could take a while, considering how many times I've watched Shallow😉)

Was watching a documentary on women of metal and Floor was shotgunned through out the whole thing. One thing she said was how happy she was that people thought how effortlessly and easy she could jump from clean to head to chest to growls. She then said it wasn't easy at all and it took a lot of training to get there. She has honed her instrument well.

I agree with you. I think she'd be a good actress. She's basically acting in all her performances anyway. She sells every song with not only her voice, but her "acting."
