"Basilio is not rich but, wait! He has a side hustle as a musician, which means... he's still not rich." 😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸😸

My actuall out loud reaction "THAT'S A REAL HORSE. THEY PUT A REAL HORSE ON THAT STAGE" but with more swearing involved.

Mariinsky has the BEST dream scene ever. Literally came out of an old rococo painting in an art museum.

Jordan and Eden are so good, this youtube channel is my favourite ballet channel. This needs to be bigger and have much more views.

Don Quixote was the first ballet I saw. I want to see it with my dad, who had no idea about ballet but came just for me. It was such a magical and lovely evening, this ballet will forever have a place in my heart as the first one I ever saw. Thank you guys for covering this ballet, you're amazing🩷🩷🩷

Thank you very much, ladies, for bringing us the different dance adaptations of this iconic work of world literature in such an informative, profound, and charming way. Ehm, but was there really a real horse on stage during a production?

It seems that the incredibly diverse life of the author Miguel de Cervantes is reflected in the tragic figure of the brave Don Quixote. Interesting fact: Cervantes wrote part of this great work in prison - yes, he had some difficulties in life...

Don Q will always be that go to ballet for a Spanish love story and I'm so here for it. I can't even tell you how many times I would do that infamous Act I variation because it's just so fun and so energetic. However I will say out of all the acts, the last act happens to be my favorite by far. Idk why but I'm a sucker for a wedding and when he presents them both to the audience at the end gets me every time.

I was expecting at least an honorable mention of Carlos Acosta here, he was the hero behind the successful production of Royal Ballet we often see today, everyone can argue about which companies have the best soloists/principal dancers for the main roles but none can match Royal Ballet’s set designs and background details

Royal Ballet’s Mayara Magri and Matthew Ball make a fabulous, powerful and expressive couple . Enjoyed this summary …the dancing, costumes and music all make for a fun, exciting experience.

There's actually a musical based on Don Quixote (called Man of La Mancha) that, while some changes are made, encapsulates the story really well! Sorry that's not ballet related but I saw Don Quixote and was like "MAN OF LA MANCHA MENTION????" It does cut many things, including (I believe) this episode.

Also, I'd love a Coppelia ballet analysis! (I mean really. Genuinely what the hell happens in Coppelia. I am so confused.)

Yes! This year it seems every company is doing Don Quixote, Cinderella, and Alice in Wonderland. It’s insane! But I love it😊
