I've ranked the winners based on their skills, but what do I feel about them as a character? Here is my rankings of all 22 winners from worst to best based on how much I like them!!

Who are your top 5 favorite winners in Hell's Kitchen?

My favorite Hell's Kitchen winner is Executive Chef Tavon. He's passionate, respectful to Chef Ramsay, a master at preparing scallops, and he showed immense creativity in his dishes, like a pigeon that can still fly. I also heard he has great cooking classes where he shows up while invisible.

Let’s not forget Anton, the real winner of Hell’s Kitchen. He had such a lovely airy voice, always took responsibility for everything and had lots of respect for women. He especially had lots of respect for Chef Andi, such a beautiful friendship

Dave was the first Hell’s Kitchen winner that I actually grew up rooting for (my first season was S5, but I wasn’t a huge fan of Danny). Dave is a legend and there will be no other chef to win the way he did.

And to think, Dave is one of the worst challenge chefs, but that didn't stop him from having such a stellar win the way he did.

I love your take on how you rank your chefs. Its like you not only take talent into account, but you describe them - and the show in general - as like this work of fiction where you discuss your investment into their stories, their arcs, and their personalities. It's a refreshing take. My list would look slightly different but your arguments were compelling! Thank you for sharing!

14:29 don't forget that he actually comforted the both of them...and they STILL outcasted him

love your top 6! dave, scott, and heather are my favs by far, and michael was so fun to watch (i like that you mentioned survivor and big brother in relation to his strategy, because im a big fan of those shows too, which might explain why i liked him so much lol.)

have to disagree a little on rock though… idk, i guess I enjoyed watching him succeed despite being overly emotional. (he definitely did have some very unpleasant moments tho.)

What makes Alex such an interesting winner imo is that even though he's so dominant and clearly the strongest contender all season, he STILL wasn't a lock to win because of his age (even though he's super physically fit and was BARELY even 40). That along with his story and him being super likable and funny made it so fun to see him kick ass all the way to the finale.

Even without recency bias at play, I still have Alex as one of my favorite winners ever lmao. Not to say Cheyenne and Sommer and plenty of others weren't still awesome, but Alex really is the heart and soul of S21 imo

It makes me so happy when someone else agrees with Dave being the #1 winner. He had determination and skill and strength I've never seen in this show. I think he was by far the most deserving winner, Dave Levey supremacy frr

1. Dave the one arm god damn bandit
2. Ryan the irish man
3. Michael

5. Heather

I’m actually surprised Paul is last place. How could anyone dislike…

Paul: I have no doubt in my mind that eight of us guys are better than nine of those girls.

Never mind, I can see it now.

I think people might have to remember that the early seasons of the show, the editors and producers were FAR more manipulative in creating drama between the contestants and the editors were FAR worse with matching the false reactions to situations, when compared to these newer seasons. Rock is actually really nice and wasnt the person they showed on screen. The producers would lie to contestants by saying _"this person said this about you, or that person said that"._ Thus causing the emotional reactions that they wanted to get.

I would put *Rock S3* in my _top 3_ along with *Dave S6* and *Christina S10*

You know the drill...

Week 5 of asking to rank all chefs that were eliminated just before the Black Jackets.

Rock is a massively insecure contestant. He is almost certainly a nice guy, but within the show itself, he was insecure about Josh and (later) Bonnie.

I really liked Ryan, even though I was rooting for Johnathan to win. Going from being the surprise final black jacket to leading one of best final dinner services in the show's history. He avenged the unfair elimination of Declan who should've won s19.

Speaking of winners, I've requested this before but I would love to see a ranking of the winners' signature dishes from worst to best.

My favorites would have to be

1. Scott, the comeback king 👑
2. Nona, she was my original winner pick when I was watching live. She was a goofball and a bit of an underdog.
3. Ryan- a fellow Irishman, I'm Irish French, so I had to root for him lol
4. Megan- the GOAT
5. Dave- the other GOAT

In terms of these ranking videos, I thought of another video idea for you that I may have mentioned before: Gordon Ramsay’s Dream and Nightmare Hell’s Kitchen Seasons. So chefs that Ramsay would love to have on a season together, and those he’d absolutely dread to have together. I’ve seen videos with a similar theme, on Jeff Probst’s Dream and Nightmare Survivor seasons, and RuPaul’s Dream and Nightmare Drag Race seasons. So this may be fun in a way.

My personal favorite winners are Dave, Megan, and Heather. Dave of course powered through his wrist and was just a chill yet passionate guy, and Megan and Heather are absolute badass women who take zero shit and are extremely talented
Oh and Nick, IDC what anyone says hes the winner of All Stars and he deserves it

In a way, Michael Wray is kind of like the Richard Hatch of Hell's Kitchen, breaking the game with his immense and ahead of it's time strategy and being villainous but in a way that makes you want to root for them as a villain and the Chris elimination is essentially Hell's Kitchen's version of Gretchen's Elimination from Survivor being iconic for being an awesome showcase of strategy. Michael is one of my favourite Hell's Kitchen contestants because of just how AWESOME he was as a villainous winner
