If you're looking to improve your bait presentation, then this video is for you! These tips will show you how to use this circle hook rig to improve your bait fishing game. Watch and learn how to improve your bait fishing with circle hooks with this easy trick!

IMPROVE your hook up ratios with this easy circle hook trick - it is nothing new, but this is something that improves your bait presentation and hook up ratio - you will catch more fish if you do this.

I was quite skeptical at first, but boy, after studying it more and more, the more it made sense to me. It is a very simple DIY and something you can do for both freshwater fishing (for catfish especially) and other applications that require you to present a bait with circle hooks - you can make sinking or floating versions of this and it even helps you cast farther because you can attach the hook to a bait clip in your sinker.

We've been using dingle dangles in South Africa for over a decade... excellent technique for circles! 🇿🇦

I just buy a circle hook with longer spine and build the bait around the spine of the hook and secure it with the invisible line. Or i buy the short circle hook, attach the wire on its ring, put the ring with swivel on the end for the fluorocarbon and build the bait around the spine of the hook and the wire. In either case, if the fish starts to eat the bait you can hook it, and if the fish bites it whole you can hook it again. Only difference is that, your bait would float while my would stay on the bottom. Which is not bad for me, since im catching gilthead seabream and they eat on the bottom. I think your system would be very productive in greece, since they have a lot of grouper, dentex and other bigger fish, and that floating bait would really lure them out. You have really good content, massive greetings from Croatia !

Thanks, this has given me an idea for a safe way to help keep pike dead baits on.

Hi, just watched your channel and I just have to tell you that you really need to adjust your mic/recording level up, so there's no need to turn the volume to the fullest to hear you. Thanks for all the tips ! 👍

So you just lose your sinker every cast?

You only get a good hookset on a circle hook 50% of the time and the hookup only happens if the fish turns left or right after they eat thr bait. It will not get a good hookset if the fish turns the opposite way of the hook placement because the back of the hook slides to one corner of the mouth and out.
