UIP400MTP Multi-Well-Plate Sonication Uniformity

The UIP400MTP for sonication of multi-well plates and microtiter plates is characterized by a very uniform distribution of the ultrasonic intensity over all wells of the plate.

An aluminum foil erosion test shows the uniform cavitation erosion of the aluminum foil in the area of the multi-well plates to be sonicated. This recording is in real time, without time lapse.

Another test shows the emulsification of clear oil and water in all wells of the 96-well plate. The uniformly increasing white coloration in the sonication process as a result of emulsion formation can be clearly seen.

As a result, the contents of all 96 wells are identically emulsified.

The UIP400MTP can be used with almost all multi-well plates, e.g. for dispersion, homogenization, extraction, emulsification or DNA shearing.
