I can do in sync pretty well but when I try out of sync my brain just snaps back to 3 ball juggling and I end up throwing one to the other side

I do that single toss quite often when i want to start juggling and the first toss doesn't feel right or i just dont commit fully

Goeie uitleg. Afgelopen week met 3 ballen begonnen en dat gaat hard. Nieuwe uitdaging was 4 en daar heb ik nu 5 complete sets van kunnen gooien. Net als met alles duurt het ff maar dan gaat het opeens eenstuk makkelijker. Thanks!

Holy hell, Niels, thank you so much. I've been stuck trying to learn it on my own, then I remembered there must be a tutorial, and just like that- It worked (for the first time ever).
Having practiced two-in-a-hand quite a lot, for me it was more about hand positioning and I felt like this tutorial helped me break a mental blockade that led to me losing focus. Thank you so much !

I learned to juggle the 4-ball fountain when I was 17 in 1993. There was no YouTube then, and I had to learn from a book. I think it took 3 or 4 weeks. My 4-ball endurance record was about 40 seconds which is better than my 2 balls in one hand record which is interesting.

The book also explained how to juggle the 5-ball cascade. That is difficult to learn from a book. I couldn't find anyone that could teach me until my 20s, before the days of high speed internet. Back in those days, one might have to travel an hour or two to get lessons from an advanced juggler. My 5-ball record is 30 catches.
