Hello everyone ! Im finally back with another video. Since autumn is upon us I decided to film a fall lookbook with my sister. We decided to come up with 3 unisex outfits that were minimal and simple. I love the idea of no gender fashion and sometimes we get too caught up in what is for men and what is for women. Fashion and style is an expression of who you are as a person not as a gender !!

About the video:

My mother used to take pictures of homeless people in New York, I never saw the appeal back then. To her these people were intriguing, they all had a unique look. The 2013 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count determined that there are 58,423 individuals experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles on any given night, 74% (43,410) of whom go unsheltered--they literally live on the street. Having recently moved to LA myself, I became drawn to these people, the very same way my mother was. I would skate/walk by the same ones almost every day, in a sense I felt as if I knew them personally. I began interviewing them, I did this for about 5 days consecutively, offering some money in Exchange for a few words.. I asked my mother why she stopped photographing homeless people, she explained to me how she started to feel as if she was using them for her own artistic pleasures. upon reviewing the footage, I couldn't help but feel the same way. I decided to completely take out all the interviews I had done. these 4 people were the ones that fascinated me most.
This may very well be the start of a bigger, future project.
