i had an emotional connection to this song because it was practically keeping me alive through all the tough times going on in my life during 2021. id play it through my earbuds when my family was fighting really bad and it would block out the noise and calm me down. i fell in love with a boy who i thought would be my forever and he, out of just an act of kindness, learned how to play guitar just so he could play this song for me himself when i was upset. i loved him with everything in me. he was the reason i was still alive. i had extremely bad health back then, and was dealing with a lot mentally because i was constantly in the hospital. he ended up cheating on me while i was in surgery and never spoke to me again. i still wonder how hes doing sometimes, because what people say is a lie. you never fully get over someone, you just learn to cope with their absence. i can’t listen to this song anymore, so i had to choose another song to replace it with. moral of the story: don’t trust anyone no matter what, live for yourself and not others, and most importantly, DONT SHARE YOUR FAVORITE SONGS WITH PEOPLE.
