You know what’s funny? During 5.4 I was on a random livestream of some genshin youtuber and there was a guy in the chat that kept yelling “I’m saving for raiden she’s rerunning in 5.6” We all kept telling him she can’t rerun so soon because she already had a rerun. He kept saying that she will. I don’t know if it was some kind of joke or coincidence but it was DAYS before 5.5 update and before 5.6 beta started💀💀 We didn’t have any banner lеаks obviously and he was right 💀

Raiden rerun might be somehow story related, I´m not saying that she is not going to survive 5.7 and never get rerun again ( that is what some people say), but one of pages on that moon web event says: "The world, no longer sheltered by "Ethernity", marches toward its final breath. ...

There's also Chevreuse Rerunning not even 3 Phases after her last Rerun... So 4 Stars are becoming Even More of a mystery on when they'll run.

I think it’s simply has to do with revenues.
In Hoyo’s eyes, the only characters worth rerunning nowadays are the archons and newer meta characters from Fontaine and Natlan, while characters from older regions are relegated to Chronicled Wish banners (except for a few like Kazuha, Hu Tao, Yelan)

They should plan to rerun Emilie first before Kinich. A lot of us skipped her and I can't say I regret it because I needed to save but I'm ready now.

I love these "archetypal" support characters like Citlali, Emilie, Escoffier etc that elevate a specific reaction. They create greater character/team variance. I don't see Hoyo nerfing Escoffier because Cryo main DPS struggle to compete with Xiao, Mavuika, Arlechino, Neuvilette etc. And Freeze itself hasn't been a competitive reaction since... Well. Forever. Childe International with the addition of Kazuha blew Ayaka out of the water for the entirety of 2.x. Bosses can't be afflicted by the Frozen status and there is a reason we've had so little Cryo characters (until now with Escoffier, Skirk, presumed Capitano going into Snezhaya).

If they do that, then if Mavuika reruns during 5.7, then let's expect that it's Nahida or Furina during summer event

Normally only the archon of the region runs twice in their region I really don’t understand the raiden rerun now like there is still many characters due for a rerun outside of inazuma characters if they do the wish banner for them

Let's not get too heated up i think i might know why They are doing this, and Raiden is particular.

The pattern will likely still be there, there is no reason for it not to be. In any case There will only be a single Archon per patch in order with the possibility of them having another Banner later down the X.X patches.


The reason Raiden is getting a Rerun so soon is likely lore related.

In the Biggest event we learned about Nod Krai, the 3 Moon sisters.

One of the 3 Moons is the eternal Moon. Raiden is the Archon of Eternity. Her Charged attack is in the shape of a crescent moon. She has a Moon in her domain.

She is dropping Right before Skirk and All of the Moon related lore in Nod Krai, it's all related.

This has a way deeper meaning than people think, it doesn't affect banners at all.

The only way to accurately predict banners is to see which Characters will be involved in lore.

This has happened before in the past where a character who didn't have a rerun for over a year was scheduled to have one but was replaced with another character that had a role in the main event.

Tldr: It's Most likely Lore stuff and permanent, it's really rare but it does happen. Don't loose your minds over it.

Or they are just gonna rerun an archon per patch from now on. Since there are 6 archons now, and each version has 6-8 patches.

If we're getting Tsaritsa this year, we will have 7 archons to rerun per version that only has 6-8 patches, so reruning an archon every patch now is the right move.
