Unpublished training song Chariots of Fire

Another of the unpublished songs that appears in the film Chariots of Fire isolated from dialogues and effects.
A song that does not appear in the official BSO either.

Chariots of Fire - my favorite score in film history - had some original pieces left out of official releases. Some tracks were never made available outside the film itself. Among the fantastic examples, there is the training sequence featuring Abrahams & Liddell presented through parallel montage.

Years ago I bought the soundtrack on cd for this track and I was so sad when it wasn’t on there. This track inspired me to write synth music I love it so much. Thanks for sharing!

The director of Chariots of Fire said the film was partly financed because it had to have two American stars. And that was Dennis Christopher and Brad Davis, who played the main American athletes, and they did it for virtually no money. Now those are true champions. :D
