I've used the Elf blush for quite a while and think it's great! I actually don't wear much make-up though I'm 70 (and never really have as I've been lucky to always have nice skin and have been more intent on keeping it clean and natural-looking). But especially when you get older products that aren't dry powder are much better, and I notice that's what you're using.
I also never used the most expensive cosmetics and instead spent money on shoes!
