My late girlfriend loved this song and that's why on her funeral it's one of the song's being played. She passed away due to suicide on Dec 17th, 2 days after I come home from uni for the Christmas break. Since that day I never forgive myself for losing her even if she said in her final messege to me in a letter to never feel upset or blame myself yet its all I end up doing now. I miss her so much...RIP my Precious beautiful adorable goofball 🕊

Just an update to this comment I thought I'd do: I HAVE shown the love you all given since I spoke out about the situation to my late girlfriend's family and friends as I felt as though they needed to see it and like myself, they were all very moved by the love you all gave and we all appreciate it very much just as I know my late girlfriend would too so thank you. In terms of how her family and friends are doing, they are doing okay, it hasn't been easy but I have been keeping in contact making sure they are okay too.

As for the one or two hateful comments we ALL have seen, I just want to say that upon her family and friends behalf as much as my own, you got NO idea what it's like to lose someone you cared for so much in your life to the point it causes you and the people that loved them, to go into a mental spiral of emotions such as depression and grief to say the least.
Suicide is NO JOKE. Nor is MENTAL HEALTH problems a JOKE and millions suffer it every second of the day, my late girlfriend BEING one of them and died because of it.
So to anyone who commented hateful bs, I hope Karma comes for you and let's see how YOU feel if someone YOU loved so dearly, passed away and THEN let us all see how YOU feel if someone jokes about it, especially if the person they joked about, is the person who brought your smile back after so many years, only to then be taken away like a blink of an eye by means of suicide.
However, I thank the haters all the same for exposing themselves to be "cowards behind a screen" (as Madison Beer would say) and showing their true and horrible nature upon people going through a difficult time. I'm sure those closest to you would be PROUD to have someone like YOU scum in their life.

I am sitting here crying my eyes out to this song. I have gone through so much this past year. My cat passed at the beginning of last year and then I got diagnosed with cancer at the end of the year. So this song reminds me of my cat that I miss so much and the me I was before cancer. I have surgery tomorrow and I’ve been so emotional today. I can’t hold back my tears today. Life is so precious.

My grandma passed away on the 8th February of 2024, she had many health issues yet continued to smile & appreciate every little thing in the world. She had a favourite bible verse which was "Be still and Know That I am God" and that, alone, has made me feel a little better because I know she's not suffering anymore.
