Great video!! Now I have more knowledge about inflation and econmy. I spent 20 years in the military and unfortunately did not save in a TSP. I am fortunate enough to be retired at age 42 with a profit from my investments and pension. I wouldn't have been able to live my current lifestyle without couple of investment. After taxes I am left with about 25, 000 bucks a month, I am debt free and just now starting to invest in real estate. I don't plan on working for someone else ever again. I just live a modest life and now invest heavily in the market with the help of an IA. I do get a 2-3% raise every year for inflation and this income is for the rest of my life. I am blessed and now I live a great stress free life while investing while I am retired.

If you have an small yard get some chickens. I haven't buy eggs on about over two years, I share them with my parents, neighbors, friends and sometimes I even use them as flowerbeds fertilizer.

I would never buy anything from dollars stores, the foods are questionable. The other products are very low quality and you have to use more of that product to have the same effect. Go to costco or something, buy those perishable in bulk and if you have large freezer, buy products and meat when they are on sale.

Dollar stores like Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, etc., are much, much more expensive than literally anywhere else when you compare price/weight because the packaging is usually just smaller. You are NOT saving money there on groceries. You’re just able to buy a greater variety of things not realizing you’re getting less of each thing due to the smaller packaging and paying more for it. Also, be careful about the “Use By” dates on food.

Even the dollar store doesn’t sell everything for a dollar anymore, everything in the dollar tree store is $1.25 now instead of $1, also im sure that even dollar general stores increased their prices. Walmart sells some items under a dollar so dollar store doesn’t always have the best deals

I pay $8 for organic, pastured raised eggs. $6 for bread without seed oils and without preservatives, and $6 for organic, grass-fed milk. Healthier options is 100% worth it for me.

I quit going to Dollar Tree price is not that great when you factor in the size of the package
Dollar General has really raised their prices in the last couple months I used to take my $5 off $25 purchase on Saturday and buy cat food now even with that deal I can shop Walmart cheaper and I'm not a Walmart fan so I will go to Walmart for just a few things. So I haven't went to Dollar General for 3 weeks
