Being originally from Michigan, and my dad living there most of his life between the UP and the Lower, I can tell you, Michigan is one strange state. It is chock full of weirdness. I'm a lady hunter and have encountered Sasquatch a couple of times in the woods while hunting. Thankfully, nothing too terroristic like my encounter in PA at eight years old. But still, anytime you see them, something gets rearranged inside of you. There are a multitude of strange happenings there within my family: especially at our lake cabin in the wilds of the UP. For me, the creepiness is palpable the very instant I cross the O-Line (Ohio). It only ratchets up the farther you get into it. I've heard others outside of my family describe it similarily. There are some places there that I simply will not fish, hike or hunt. No way.

Life-long Michigander, here. I lived in Livingston County for years. There's some amazing wild areas in the Cohacta area, where the Shiawassee River runs. I imagine a family of Sasquatch could live happily there!

I live in Tuscola County, Michigan in the Thumb and had a strange experience years ago out hunting, i personally think it was a black bear but no bears have been spotted in this area since 2000

That's where I grew up. My grandparents farmed land there and now my uncle does too. I loved the openness of the fields and seeing all the farms. Only about twenty minutes from the house I grew up in. To know there is bigfoot there. I wish I seen one.

I used to ride my dirt bike all day on my grandpa's farm. There was this one area of the trails I made that used to weird me out. I couldn't get out of the woods fast enough at dusk!
