My uncle married 7 wives, the last one got HIV and gave to him and he gave to his other 6 wives, all of them became terribly sick and died within 2 years, + all the fightings, quarreling and jealousness in polygamy, so please don't go for polygamy, it takes sleep completely away from your eyes, but if your marriage is not working and you cannot fix it at all, you better separate or get divorced and marry another, but a no no to polygamy, kids trained in a polygamous home go through a lot, see and hear a lot, and that is not good for a child's upbringing.

Thank you so much for this. It was really shocking to see educated people justify polygamy this week. I heard someone on tv say that it was so because the West brought polygamy to Africa. I watched this man justify polygamy the full and I was really disgusred. Pastor, I pray you'll have the time to do this again as all sorts of unbiblical teachings are been spewed from the mouths of so called Christians. We need to put God's Word back out there and speak the truth.

You've really been a great influence in the way I look at marriage and life in general as a man. I have a concern though and I really dont know if you've addressed the matter before. I wanted mailing you directly but I don't have your mail that's why I'm doing this here. I do hope you see this and respond.

1. I want to get married next year, I have a lady in my life I'm currently going out with and I love her to bits. However, her parents are not in support for the singular reason that they don't like people from my tribe (I'm from the south and the lady is from the east)....Do you think its something I should worry myself over? Knowing that marriage in Africa is not just between two persons but two families.
She's not in support of her parents as she's willing to go with me whether her parents wants it or not.

2. When is the right time to talk about finance. Like really disclose how much I earn to her. She's not gullible however I've not really felt like disclosing that info to her and it feels like I'm hiding something from her. She's also working too.
