I can't tell you how much of my life I would have back if I knew about Q-Flam... Thank you for this Chris!

SmartQuantize is the best feature for piano players. It sounds very natural, and what a time saver!

Using Logic from more than 20 years I found that there are no limits to the hidden power offered by this great piece of software. The quantize possibilities are just awesome. I've used also other daws and I can assure that there are no reason to go around, Logic have infinite power in many fields, from midi, to audio to mixing...and the workflow design remain the best out there in perfect Apple concept. Long life to Logic Pro
Thanks for your precious channel :)

This is amazing. This will make playing my real drums and recording guitar and piano and bass over it without getting angry at my drums

Wow... Until now I touched EVERY midi note of my virtual drums and bases to align them properly but don't suck too much of the life out of it. Q-Flam and Q-Range will save me :D Chris, you're the man!

Thanks for this next level dive. I realize I been barely scratching the surface up to now.

Yet again, the logic team has options for things I've been doing MANUALLY for years. Thank you for enlightening me!

As a pianist for pop music, smart quantizing is the greatest find in history. I didn't know about it until this video. Thank you. But it messes up the sustain pedals positions. I had lots of weird places where the notes lingered too long or cut off too soon.

I solved the problem by going into score mode and moving them around. Much easier to eyeball them there. Once I fixed those, the part sounds FANTASTIC. All my natural playing got right into alignment with my drum track.

That was awesome. Ive used Logic for at least 15years and never took the time to deep with these extra quantize features. I’m always hand drawing my piano rolls and such. What a time saver! Much appreciated

The Groove Template function is something I now can use more effectively and ensure my bass and drums (even MIDI performances) are in lock step with each other and sound less mechanical. Thanx, Chris!! 💯

So valuable info here. Thank you Chris. Over five years using Logic and I didn't know these advanced functions. Awesome video! but over all, so helpful.
