Thank you a million times for this. I had one end of our shade pop out and pulled my hair out for 30 minutes trying to get it back in. I could see how it was supposed to work, but I couldn’t get enough leverage just trying to use my finger to open the clip. I was resigned to having to remove the whole valence, then decided to go to YouTube University and found your video. The screwdriver did the trick in 10 seconds and saved my sanity.

It does look easy when on the bench. Try it with the shade installed in the RV. You can't see where the clips are and you have to press your face against the window while you crack your neck looking up and feel around with a screw driver for a clip you can't see. The screws that hold those clips are too short. One of my shades fell out on one side because the screw pulled out. I ended up replacing both screws with slightly larger screws. Wondering how many more will come loose. I now carry a bag of larger screws in the tool box.

Not all Alliance rigs look like this. How about installing one on the Inside the rig not on a factory floor.

Yes it’s easy on the bench but very hard in the RV once they are in place on the window. Also they are installing the clips back to front so it’s easy on the bench. They should have the release mechanism facing the other way towards the front of the valance so you can remove them with ease.
Also the fabric valances in the Valor are very poorly upholstered with excessive material on the inside of the corners of the valances that rubs against the blind as you roll it down. Plus the valances in the garage are 3”” deep and the sofa on the happy jack catches as it moves so I has to remove them, take a half an inch off and reupholster them, then reinstall. The valances above the sofa and bed are just a joke because they use screws that are too long and poke through.
All in all very poor quality and even worse workmanship.
Yes I sell blinds for a living so know what I am talking about.
