It blows my mind how many videos I see with people sitting on the bow when going through the notoriously hectic inlet, its madness. We have a savage river mouth here in the UK, the River Arun, people have died falling in. Mental that people are happy to take the risk. Anyway, cheers for the videos my son!

The first loss was harsh. You see rhe cap trim down the motor when he realises it plus the bow touching the water is not stuffing it... He didn't really take any water in. I side with the captain on this one 🫡

Regarding the Evolve and its bow-riding crew. Ask yourself: Would you allow this in your car? Just pile everyone on the hood and take off? Seriously, what is wrong with these people?

Watching these astounds me at the stupidity of some of these people, small boats with nobody wearing a life jacket going into open sea seems like a death wish to me and bow riding is just plain nuts. Here in New Zealand (the home of the Americas cup) which is a boating nation it is a requirement for all crew to wear a life jacket in a small boat at all times while bow riding is illegal as well as being stupid.
The irony is that we dont have any form of boat registration nor any requirement to hold an operators license for a non commercial boat.

Good footage, but that whiny, American twang voice-over spruiiking at high speed just grinds my gears and makes it very difficult to listen to. Probably due to my much more laid-back Aussie speech that I'm used to here Down Under - my ears just can't get around this nasal voiceover.
