Austrian roads are very hilly.

Downhill in neutral might not be the smartest 'move'. Next time you visit Austria you should also drive the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse. Incredibly beautiful, especially around May with snow walls of several meters high where you drive through.

Nice Adventure. Have you ever tried the electric version? It drives very smooth and you can climate your car very easy. You also have no clutch and it gets the energy back while driving down a hill.

Danke ❤aus Deutschland, tolles Video ! Fahre einen Seat Mii 🎉 12 Jahre alt, 137000 km, 5 Türen, so wie dein VW Up und ich liebe ES. Ich wohne im Schwarzwald und kenne das lustige Problem, dass die die Berge bei 8 %, 12%, 15% Gefälle nur im 2. oder 3. Gang und 40 km/h zu fahren sind. Dieses Jahrbaue ich auch zum Campen aus 🎉 Gute Fahrt dir !

Instead of tuning your car, is there any way you could upgrade to a TSI (turbo-engined) Up? The one with 95ps would be much better than the gutless 60ps you have there... maybe putting back your car in its original form, selling it, getting a better Up and installing your bed and stuff in that new one is the way to go!

No car will pull up this hills with 1500rpm 😂 maybe a car with a lot of displacement. You have to give it revs this low revs are just putting stress on the engine on those hills. Even the TSI model with 90hp would struggle with this rpm because the turbo will not kick in with such low revs.

Zoef, here in Brazil, we remapped the ECU, put a sports filter and put an electric vent before the muffler. The Up! goes from 75 to 90 - 91hp

Heb zelf een soortgelijke kleine auto gehad en had ook problemen met berg op. Een garage in Zwitserland zei dat het kan komen omdat de auto niet genoeg lucht naar de motor kan krijgen. Zelf verder de ballen verstand van auto’s verder maar wellicht handig om te onderzoeken

Nou, wat een uitdagingen met weinig pk en een protesterende versnellingsbak! Dat je dan ook nog bij donker plekjes zoekt, dapper hoor! Bijzonder dat je 'en route' de banden kan wisselen. Had je ze daar gehuurd en jouw zomerbanden gestalt? Heel leuk om allemaal te zien, ik ben benieuwd naar de volgende vlog. Hfn!
