Hi Job. Wow I've been waiting for this video. I see you have reduced your planners and journals. But still I see you can work everything on your plate. I still deciding what to use for 2023. As for now, I only have one journal (I use Regular Traveler's Company Leather Cover with 2 inserts - one is the black insert for journaling daily and black weekly horizontal), Hobonichi Techo 5 Years (starting this year till 2027), Passport size Traveler's Company (for quick jot down notes) and planner from Prudential Insurance. That's for now. I don't know what the future holds. I wish you and all of us the best of 2023. Love you, Job.

a video that I much, much enjoyed! you're probably one of the primary inspo for my future TN system (something my budget cannot reach for now), but with your techo videos, adding to the TN title I regard you to is my primary plotter inspo as well - and I live from Asia! usual binders here aren't as sleek as the plotter. I had one of the typical plastic binders & I can see the functionality behind it ^^ hope they bring plotter here soon though! 🤞Happy 2023!

love this video. i also switched to a completely dated system this year (grabbed a cheap planner form a book store when i was in poland lmao), but so far it's been working better than bujo and i think i might invest in a hobonichi next year. it's my daily carry and besides it (and my notion setup) i only have four books: daily journal, book journal, commonplace book and a field notebook. i also only carry a few pens, two pentel energels, a fountain pen and a random ballpoint for my field notes. i'll maybe start a therapy journal (if i can afford therapy soon), but other than that i really have been enjoying the minimalism of only having five notebooks. obviously everyone is different and different things work for different people, but i hope you enjoy your setup this year! i cant wait for updates, i genuinely enjoy each and every one of your videos so much! love x

Happy New Year Job. This was a much awaited video ^_^; looks like a nice balance of efficient no frills planning and creative outlets. That's really nice that you can successfully log personal and work information with a nice clear demarcation in the plotter I've been really intrigued by this system and really love some of the Itoya exclusive colors but I'm trying to focus on what works well and culling vs adding more to my planner stack. I love the look of your TRC weekly vertical with simply writing and how you've mixed up your ink choice within the week ^_^ This minimalist approach is what I'm doing in my Hibino I've got 2 FWP inks Glimmering Greige & Adventurine (but just succumbed to the siren song of the FWP Jade Rabbit so that might be placed in rotation to document special occasions). I also have conflicting feelings regarding the shift in TRC limited edition releases... my husband/family are stationed at an air force base in a Tokyo suburb. In the past I was able to plan ahead and simply visit TF station or Nakameguro on release days and pretty much always came home with whatever treasures I sought out. The Diner edition was my first time experiencing the process... it felt like another hoop to jump through and there was 0 guarantee I'd actually be able to purchase (spoilers there was enough interest that it shifted to lottery format and I wasn't selected)... the verbiage used on the shop also left a sour taste in my mouth as I live on a military installation so I have no clue if that fell under the "suspicious address" category in their eyes despite having a Nippon address and a previous purchase history with the online store... there was no communication and they discouraged any inquiry so I've no way of knowing if it was luck of the draw issue or sus mailing address issue most of the folks I know in the Japan FB group were able to purchase so it left me feeling disheartened. I stayed up to the wee hours yesterday/this morning and was able to purchase off the TRC US site and it successfully shipped to me but I was anxious I'd face a similar issue again... that being said I am really happy to see the inclusion and festivities planned for all of the partner shops and hope that continues and that they expand this to their European Partner shops too so TRC fans world wide can have better accessibility of the releases they want and commemorative stamps etc & also experience the fun of in person festivities.
