Was there again this year (the same time as you), and it is quite a budget friendly destination if you go to the right places. I think the biggest downside I've found with the local ferries though is the schedules and having to plan around when they are running (which for many is every other day, once or maybe twice a day). So it does take a lot of planning and not so much a destination where you plan along the way. Heading back next year and definitely have to check out a couple of the islands you visited.

Hello, i am from the island "kulhudhuffushi" its a different experience on a more local island, but there are guest houses still, id say kulhudhuffushi is one of the top 4 best islands, education, medical and job wise
