Blaxland High School - NSW

Our young scientists at Blaxland High School are excited (and a little incredulous) that students would have the opportunity to grow something from space! This would be a meaningful experience in real-world science, linking to our curricular areas of Space, Ecology and Living Things, across Stages 4 and 5. We hope to use the "What'll Happen to the Wattle" project as an investigative experience requiring collaboration across our junior grades and Gifted and Talented classes. Further, we think we have the right environment for growing wattles - given our location in the Blue Mountains National Park.
