can we use lowess with a binomial (0, 1), variable?

I have a fairly large set of data, and it stopped calculating the new
Lowess values after the 250th data point. Just put in NAs. There is
nothing in the data to produce this result. Is there a limit to the
number of data points that can be used in R Lowess function?
