September 6, 2024 Flosstube #90 Sampler September in full swing

Welcome to our channel all about cross stitch. In this episode we share our plans to stitch on several reproduction samplers during the month. We also share some previous finishes on display in our homes for fall. We have worked on lots of WIPs over the past two weeks including two designs by The blue Flower, The American Sampler by Primrose Cottage and our latest finishes in the ABC Sampler series by little House Needleworks. Thank you for the excuse to sit and stitch today, despite the housework. When you showed Autumn Sampler by Annie Turner and discussed how it was finished, to me it looked like it had been placed on a small cheese board. Hope that helps. When you showed the fabric Lestrange, I instantly thought of the films Fantastic Beasts, and thought it was a good name for the colour of the fabric. A possible Halloween fabric! You are both so good at this, and your stitching is fantastic and you produce so much work. 😊

Your stitching is so wonderful. I like the houses you are stitching out of Just Cross Stitch. When those houses came out I didn’t find them interesting but seeing them done by you makes me want to find my magazines and start them. Loved the video!

Your videos are always so good. I am.not much of Halloween stitcher saying that got all 4 of primrose cottage Halloween designs. I finished the Halloween alphabet and working on Halloween Quaker among alot of other things. I started American Sampler on my birthday this year June 5 I will work on it until my birthday next year. Yours look so good.

So many beautiful finishes and many fabulous wips and new starts! Thank you for sharing! I’m currently trying to finish plumb streets “Rest A Wile” and some ornaments for the grandkids. I too want to stitch Annie Beez twelve days of Christmas stockings but after three attempts at black, charcoal gray and a dark gray with slow progress because I cannot see that well on dark fabric I’m discouraged with them and am thinking about other fabric choices. 🤨😝🤓 Happy Stitching!

So much goodness. All your stitching is so pretty. I just love seeing it. My goal is to finish our baseball ⚾️ stitch finish it and give to John for Christmas. I just got back from Quilters Station retreat in Kc and had a fantastic time.
