If you ride a motorcycle in Las Vegas, you're at least marginally suicidal.

Happened to me almost 23 years ago in Chicago. In IL, drivers in the middle of an intersection waiting to make a left will see a solid green circle light as opposed to a flashing yellow turn light. Obviously you make your left when oncoming traffic is at a safe distance or until the light turns red AND the oncoming traffic has stopped at the light.

Anyway I was the driver that was making the left in the middle of the intersection when the light turned a solid yellow circle. Got t-boned by an old bmw crossing the intersection trying to beat the yellow. I argued with the judge that doesn't yellow mean to be ready to slow down and stop? He said yes, but the traffic going straight still has the right of way.

I learned an expensive lesson that day.
