I firmly believe my doctor was trying to kill me. I'm pregnant and needed a blood transfusion. He gave me a blood transfusions with O+ blood four times and my blood type is A-. I had a Hemolytic transfusion reactions. I had a stroke and almost went into a coma. Now I have high blood pressure preeclampsia and countless medical issues popping up because of it. It's a miracle my son didn't die. Now I'm waiting for my son to be delivered and I'm scared something else will go wrong.

There is a difference: medical malpractice is based upon the standard of the reasonable professional. Medical negligence is usually an application of res ipsa loquitur or less commonly negligence per se which hinges upon the reasonable person standard where it overlaps the reasonable professional - in theory shown by the comission of the elements of a criminal felony that results in damages the criminal law was enacted to prevent. This is because a reasonable professional is first a reasonable person and a reasonable person knows the criminal laws, especially those that pertain to their profession.
