OFFICIAL MATRIMIA CHANNEL - Matrimia Live performing Tarrasology, from the new album/cd "Zivili" (IWM 2011). Our sound is an awesome juicy mix: Tzigan, Balkan Arab and Jewish sounds, with manush jazz tunes, "chanson Française" and mediterranean music, but also Rock and reggae. Our founding members are the accordion player Daniele Tesauro and percussionist Giacomo Di Domenico to which are added, bringing ideas and personal backgrounds, the French- Algerian singer Davy Deglave, the guitarist buzukist Gero Pitanza, the charismatic clarinettist Dario Compagna and the bassist programmer and productor Roberto Ferreri. Matrimia's new Album, Zivili ("cheers!"), also shows the huge collaboration of Dutch Double bass player Marko Bonarius and violin virtuous, Swiss-Siciliano Larsen Genovese. CD "Zivili" just wanna be a toast to music and life but also wishes an endless dialogue and exchanges of cultures for different people.
