Aix En Provence France Travel Guide. Embark on a journey through the sun-kissed landscapes and charming avenues of Aix En Provence—a cute town with cobblestone streets and open-air markets with the best soaps!

A little history on why Aix is so charming. It became a haven for artists and intellectuals during the Renaissance, with luminaries like Paul Cézanne finding inspiration in its sun-soaked landscapes.

Known for its elegant architecture, Aix boasts stunning examples of Baroque and Neoclassical design. The iconic Cours Mirabeau, a grand avenue lined with majestic plane trees, stands as a testament to the town's affluence during the 17th and 18th centuries. Aix's enchantment extends to its numerous fountains, a remarkable total of over 1,000 across the town. These watery masterpieces add a unique charm to Aix's cultural tapestry.

This location is best suited for a weekend getaway. You only need 1-3 days.

If you want people to take you seriously, then PLEASE learn the correct pronunciation of place outside the US. It's EX en Provence. It is not difficult to find someone to help with learning the correct pronunciation.
