Matt looks really good. I'm so glad he takes care of himself. The world needs him. He has helped me so much on my journey. I appreciate his work; no one else can do it like he does.

We all owe Dell a great debt of gratitude for giving us the atheist Matt Dillahunty we know and love.

I love Matt. We really need people like him, stepping up for religious nonsense. When will we get Matt to Finland?

Hope there's a Dragon Con next year, and Matt is there again. This year was really, really hard to miss out on.

Great talk and Q&A! Always love seeing Matt in front of a crowd. He's a natural at it.
It is always fairly discombobulating whenever he mentions Beth, his (now ex) wife.
I was friends with her back in college, at ETSU. She lead a SSA type group. I even remember a burrito dinner party at her apartment where she casually mentioned how she'd been talking online with this Matt guy from Texas. Crazy to think how long ago that was.... o_o

@9:25 The guy in the red jacket: "...people who are just solid concrete." What a great metaphor.

A good intro to science would be "Demon Haunted World".

I just realized....with the exception of a couple of speeches where he was standing up from years ago (before his weight loss), I have never seen the lower half of Matt's body before. It's like catching a glimpse of a snow leopard.

At the very, very least, Matt really deserves that honorary basketweaving degree.

19:00 She doesn´t have the science backround to understand everything, but noone has. That may be a bit frustrating for people who became atheists. You can´t understand everything. As a theist you can be sure to have all the answers. God did it, that´s enough. As an atheist, you can learn this or that, but the universe is way too complicated to even have a rudimentary understanding of everything.

_Connections_ and _The Day The Universe Changed_ are series that I showed my classes in engineering and technology for MANY years from the 70's through the 90's. Even got him to sign my books during his stop at WA state U in '88. He 'splains shit in 10 minutes that took Sagan 10 hours.
