This moment was soo wholesome, I love Sanji’s character soo much and the development from whole-cake up until this point is shown so beautifully in this scene. It being Robin is so perfect considering she went through a similar situation where she felt she wasn’t worthy of asking for help back in enis lobby, man I’ll be a one piece fan till the day I die.

A lot of people are mentioning the reason being that he can't hit a women, which is true. But also, think of the many times Sanji has been in dangers way or put himself in danger without asking or even considering asking for help. He saw himself as the expendable one. That's why whole cake island happened, he thought he could trade himself for everyone else and no one would care. Then we have Robin, someone who was alone and couldn't trust anyone until she met the strawhats. No one trusted her either, no one saw her as anything but a tool. Now Robin isn't dumb, I'm sure she has caught onto her and Sanji's similarities when it comes to how they began to view themselves. So in this moment, where he not only actually asks for help, but trusts Robin to be the friend to do so, puts so much value on her as more than a tool, but a friend. He trusts her. And it also shows that he now views himself as someone worth saving.
