Onlg issue i see here from experience with water, it was better to selastic around the internal edge of the gutter 'downpipe' hole or on the inside edge of the insert prior to inserting.

Hence spreeding the selastic in a water tight fashion then rivit/screw in place - then smooth over for finished effect.

Next, install the guttering as cheaply as possible. Do your best and silicone the rest
