Considering a cost of a Singer 911 is north of 1.5mil. 900K+ about 50-60K for a rough F355 donor, doesn't sound like a bad proposition.

They don't have the neccesary legacy nor infrastructure.
High risk high reward for the manufacturer. They shouldn't aim so high on their first product. Lower the price, and the numbers.
