Watching this again. WOW. I really love this color. I got a new sprayer this past week. Can’t wait to get back into spraying.

That same trick you used to make a straight cut with your circular saw can be used to make a straight line with your router. Just clamp a ruler or level onto the top of the nightstand as a guide for your router to follow.

Christina, you are a very gifted painter and furniture refinisher! (as if you didn't already know that :) Really nice job. The burgundy color is very warm and unique. Thanks for sharing

Wow, you are so talented. I wish there had been videos back when I was younger because I was always asking my dad to teach me about building but he said it was man’s work and not girls. Then when I went into high school I wanted to take wood shot and was informed that wood shop was for the boys and I had to take home education. I’m 80 now and so disappointed that I didn’t have the opportunity to do this kind of stuff while I still could. I do, however, have a scroll saw that is easy for me to cut out small projects for my tole painting.

Once I started treating sanding as meditation (🥰🤣) it made a world if difference for overall experience. 🥰‼

Looks great! I love that you have people another option to repurpose this vintage desk/vanity if that piece of furniture no longer fits their needs. You can still maintain the sentiment and value of the furniture with a function that fits your needs. Awesome job! Love the color, and you did an excellent job with the router.

Been using Multi-purpose Bondo for some of my projects and here are a couple of tips- When the bondo is drying but still soft, you can carve the bigger chunks off or shape it; also, the more you shape the bondo or scrape it with a putty knife when you apply it, the easier and faster it is to sand down the excess. Really helps when using on flat surfaces.
