What a coincidence, my 10-year-old cousin finished learning Angular, Django, and Laravel in one afternoon. That was last week on Tuesday. He just texted me a moment ago about a new programming language he's building. I'll give you updates soon...

This is the correct way of how you learn something, by doing. If you stuck google is your best friend.

For mere mortals like myself, here’s a more realistic timeline:

HTML/CSS: It will take you about an hour per day for a month to gain a solid understanding of these concepts while following along with a project-based Udemy course.

JavaScript: You’re looking at about another month of learning an hour per day. Again, follow along with a course.

React: I’m currently in the process of learning React and have been at it for a week now, again, for an hour per day. I’m nowhere near ready to take off the training wheels, which is why I’m following along with another course. Realistically, I’m estimating it will take another month or two to become somewhat comfortable.

I have time to invest more than 1 hour per day, but I can’t intensely focus on unfamiliar concepts for longer than an hour. My long-term retention takes a steep nose dive past the 60 minute mark. This is likely the barrier that will place a time gate on most people’s rate of learning.
