Baltic’s killing it! I love what they’re coming out with. Original, fun designs, good solid movements. What’s to complain about (other than a small crown for a hand wound piece)!

Baltic is working really well. Every time they present a new watch, I look at it and think it could be a nice piece to add to my collection. Maybe sooner or later...

Love Baltic. Personally though, I do like the Art Deco vibes from the dial. The case is cool, Code 11ish from the side.

I bought a mr01, waited 6-8 months, sold it after a week. Wasn't for me, but people love them.

Thanks for the great review. I appreciated seeing the watch in different lighting. I will definitely be saving for this one (love the purple).

The mesh bracelet is amazing with the case, the sub dial ruins it for me unfortunately, too busy. Thank you for sharing.

Nice modern interpretation of some vintage designs from Omega and Longines. Both have similar models from the 50s. Surely this will be more resistance :)

I like but I think these 36 mm case watches would look better if the lug width were smaller eg. 18 mm.

That’s a great watch. I’d love me some tritium, and Ball makes some awesome watches. And I admit, I’ve got to look a little harder with my smaller vintage watches to tell the time, but the sacrifice in terms of beauty, artisanship and heritage is sometimes worth it (1966 35mm Omega Constellation and 1950 Jaeger Lecoultre Futurematic). Although, I’ve also got a 37mm Nomos Orion, and the readability is on par with my 42mm SMP300 as is my 38mm Sinn 556 IB. So I hear you on functionality. In any case, my wife, who is the best judge of what looks good, doesn’t distinguish between my larger and smaller watches. BTW, I’m 74, and couldn’t see the date window on my SMP300 without my reading glasses if you paid me, so I totally get what you’re saying.

Something bothers me about the bracelet and case however the profile of the case looks excellent

I'm a bit puzzled. no waouw effect but the case is really amazing. The price point is a bit high in my humble opinion. Was definitely looking forward to this one and I think I'm gonna pass

How is it manually winding that very small crown?

the bracelet reminds me of baltic's onlywatch's bracelet

Surprised to see this. Looks like they took some pieces from their experiment Baltic Premier Quatrième Perpétual. Think they might make that watch in a more affordable package?

What is the material of the mesh bracelet? Can it be inserted in MR01?
Thanks

This is quite hit and miss. Lovely dials, but small crown and only 30wr, is not robust enough for a daily wearer that you gada with.

Y’know I love the brand I own the MR01 and I love it . I like the Hermetique and I enjoy Baltics brand design. For some reason this watch doesn’t do it for me. I love the movement and the colors idk what I don’t like about this watch it could be the indicies. But it’s a nice watch it’s just not a me watch.

I just ordered from the French site, I hope to be the first to have number 001 of the first 100 numbered copies!

Those bracelets quickly deform to the shape of the wrist. Yes they look good new but age badly. Baltic do make very good looking watches though. Thanks for the look at this.
