The Alicorn Arc is definitely my favorite one by far. The main reason is Captain Torres; out of all the antagonists in the series, he was the closest one to an actual villain. Tied for second place were the two Bats.


Mihaly was just some old ace who wanted one last fight with a worthy opponent.
That Belkan scientist just wanted to avenge the destruction of his country in another war, but he had a change of heart when he realized the carnage of innocent people his drones had caused. To atone for that, he gave the Oseans a heads-up on what the top drones needed to do.
Had Bandog not killed Full Band immediately, he would have spilled the beans on the Stonehenge plan, and then neither Arsenal Bird would have been shot down. Full Band was warned repeatedly not to leak intel, but he didn't listen.
The Eruseans were just an opposing faction during wartime, so shooting at each other is to be expected. Even in the later arcs, most of them wanted peace.
The Arsenal Bird and the drones were autonomous flying robots that gained sentience and went out of control.

I think my favorite arc was the Ten Million Relief Plan Arc. Villain was fantastic to watch to his thing, and aside from him being not only funny, he was also a genuine threat.
