I love Kino-Lorber simply for restoring Marty; if they had restored nothing else, that alone is noteworthy. I never miss the chance to tell people to purchase this version of the film (the other versions of Marty are not complete) so this is the definitive. Was beyond elated to add to my collection!

The Magic Sword is good fun. I look forward to checking out Tim Lucas' commentary. As for Tarantino, I've long argued that even if you don't like his films the man has been essential in getting an amazing amount of once obscure films released to home media. Will have to get The Specialists.

Heath, I'm just 2 1/2 minutes into the video and I already went and spent 150 dlls in Kino Lorber's sale. I didn't know about this sale until I saw your video and damn! So many of my wishlist films are on sale :o I just couldn't let it pass.

Heath, as someone else stated below, there were series from the Andersons before Thunderbirds: Supercar, Fireball XL, and Stingray. I used to watch some of these in syndication as a kid, and I preferred Fireball XL and Stingray. Thunderbirds seemed to follow the same basic plot and Fireball XL and Stingray were more diverse plotwise. Supercar, Fireball XL and Stingray are all available on amazon prime and there are excellent and cheap DVD collections. The two Thunderbird features were available on a Twilight Time double feature blu-ray, with some of the commentaries that are on the Kino Lorber blu-ray.

Thats a coincidence because Eureka entertainment just announced their blu ray of the specialists which I'm definitely going to get. Fun fact about once upon a time in Hollywood you probably already know. Thanks for the heads up. I picked up 7 movies. I cannot believe I found Solarbabies on Blu ray wtf. A bad movie for sure, but my childhood revisited lol. I also picked up "Metropolis", and "a girl walks home alone at night", just to name a few .

the sonny and cher movie is a lot of fun. they are hired by george sanders to make a movie and daydream what type of movie it should be. the hollywood machine has other ideas. i just ordered a bunch of blu rays all under ten dollars each, thanks for the heads up.

I ordered the first day of the sale, and I'm waiting on my package to arrive. I would be interested to see what you think of THE NUDE BOMB, as I don't have a good memory of it. However, there are two commentaries, including one by the creator of SLEDGE HAMMER. My order only had one duplicate with your order, KILL THEM ALL AND COME BACK ALONE. I got a mix of older films (CHRISTMAS IN JULY and EASY LIVING (Preston Sturges scripted films), BEND OF THE RIVER, THE LAST COMMAND), foreign films (UN FLIC, BUFFET FROID), and more recent films such as INSIDE MOVES and WINTER KILLS. I already ordered THE OSCAR and I highly recommend that. It's scripted by Harlan Ellison and stars Stephen Boyd (who is miscast) but also features Tony Bennett (not a bad performance, but a unique, one of a kind one), Milton Berle, Jack Soo, Elke Sommer, Jill St. John, Ernest Borgnine, Edie Adams, Peter Lawford, Bob Hope and other cameos. Not a good film, but a very entertaining one, with choice Ellison dialogue. Excellent audio commentary by Josh Olsen, Erik Nelson and Patton Oswalt, all friends of the late Harlan Ellison. Favorite comment, about the film's bright, colorful cinematography, "I keep expecting Batman and Robin to step into the frame." There is another commentary that takes the film too seriously.

Awesome haul and what bargins and its great to see Kino Lorber Studio Classic bringing out old movies on blu ray and i always love the tees you wear on your channel and the Karate Kid tee looked awesome thank you for sharing your buys takecare
