You don't rush rehab. Making the cut at Augusta should silence many. Great performance goal.

I don’t play golf like that but I can honestly say from the form down to the shot was all flush. Completely perfect

The key to his power is holding the radial deviation (thumbs-up) lag in the wrists deep into his downswing until club shaft is nearly horizontal but then releasing it which allows the club hand mass to rapidly accelerate around the hands before it reaches the ball. Each doubling of the club head speed at that point increases striking force by a factor of 4x (F = 1/2 (Mass x Velocity^2). The ability to lag the club like that in the downswing is set-up by using a wide sweeping takeaway which causes a similar whipping up around the hands to increase the energy of the club head mass exponentially (effortlessly) on the way up.

The hinging and release is a function of having a light grip which allows the club to freely “waggle” up and down. Recreational golfers restrict that action when they grip to club to tightly. As a result they don’t generate enough acceleration of the club head around the hand on the way up to set-up the inertial resistance on the way down which is what allows holding the lag deep into the downswing before releasing. Recreational golfers lacking that inertial resistance in the downswing wind up releasing the lag too early (casting) and a grip pressure which prevents the “waggle down” release of the lag seen in his swing before impact with the ball.

Every shot video I've seen on how to hit. Tiger just did everything opposite and hammered it perfectly and with so much torque. Just some folks are just better. Tiger is one of a kind man. 👏

Aside from playing virtuosity, TW always dressed like a pro. Never sloppy, always neat and trim. Made what he did/does seem all the more
elegant.
