I love how you're starting to take the genre of vaporwave seriously now, as since your "Floral Shoppe" review the genre has expanded tremendously into a whole bunch of different sounds and subgenres. I definitely liked a lot of what BB was trying to do with the overall composition and tone to the tracks in "MEGA", but I do agree that I wish I could've seen these tracks be further developed, especially since the track length is roughly the same all throughout his catalog and could expand on these songs way more. Good on you for really reconsidering vaporwave because of this album, though, if you hadn't already with other vaporwave records such as the mallsoft innovator Disconscious' 2013 release "Hologram Plaza". Have a good one, and I look forward to seeing more reviews ranging into this particular genre. I think I, along with many other people, have a keen interest in the potential that could be shown within vaporwave and other subgenres like it, and I hope you see what I do in some of this music.

Vaporwave is this super unique/interesting genre(and a staple of Internet-born electronic music) that is extremely equally divided into great albums and bad ones. Vaporwave is a legitimate form of the art of music(especially if you look beyond Floral Shoppe, an album which aged badly, although it shaped the vaporwave scene as we know it), far beyond being a meme. The music, the aesthetics, the concept behind the genre, etc... Vaporwave is an intoxicating genre, and deeply fascinating at that. It's so hard for me to get out all that I have to say about Vaporwave.

The fact that Blank Banshee puts in so much detail in his tracks makes it so understandable that his songs are that short

I liked the album. The seamless incorporation of certain samples impressed me a lot, like the Intel inside jingle in track 2. People don't even notice that unless I point it out to them.
