Managed Identity is a important security concept in Azure. It helps azure resources to connect and interact with each other. If you know MI then you can avoid dealing with keys and connection string. I had explained managed identity types and usage with an example where azure data factory provided access to read and write data from azure storage blob using both system and user assigned managed identity

This was very clearly explained, thank you! However one question, if a resource like the data factory has a system assigned managed identity attached to it AND a user assigned managed identity attached to it, will it always use the system assigned one first? In other words, if I want the data factory to use the user assigned managed identity I would first need to switch off the system assigned managed identity on the datafactory?

In my case, i have storage account with PLE enabled (disabled public ) and want to link the blob storage to the ADF with user managed identity, that doesn't work with default IR. But the same does work with System Managed Identity. Couldn't find the reason why. any headon?
