Chillcraft (Minecraft & Chill)

Chillcraft combines the hybrid electronic style of Helynt’s series “Super Lofi World” with a more laid back and relaxed vibe. Perfect for world-building!

Pigstep, the album’s lead single, was composed by indie darling Lena Raine for the Minecraft Nether Update. The rest of Chillcraft are tracks composed and produced by Daniel Rosenfeld, better known as C418.

Chillcraft was produced by Helynt, mastered by Dj Cutman, with artwork by Sean Therlow. The 3 artists collaborated on the animation for this video.

Most Minecraft song remixes don't end up being too good becuase you can't top the beautiful simplicity of the original versions. This is different though, becuase it feels like these remixes take the original melodies of the tracks and change them into something new. I mean seriously you actually made mice on venus HAPPY and upbeat rather than tear-inducingly nostalgic. I like these remixes cuz they try to make something new rather than trying to make something "better" than the originals (which let's be honest, is completely impossible as the originals are nigh-perfect)
