Considering driving environment in my country, I think I'll be utilising all of the safety suites in the new S-Class. And I've experienced almost all of the safety features in pre-facelift W213 E63 S and I realised that I don't get all those early warnings in my other cars.

I'm really thankful to Mercedes-Benz for having a technology that's not limited to brand's opulence, but towards safety of it's occupants.

I wish these videos would feature live, city-type, driving: I'm building a c300 right now, but don't know whether to add this package because there is little information about how these features behave in _unruly_ traffic where no one follows the rules pedantically. Don't want to add this only to have a car that brakes so much one'd think it's having a seizure.

I went to my Mercedes dealer recently to look at a new EQA. One of my main criteria was Driving assistance rech, I liked the car and would of been inclined towards one however I was quite surprised to hear non of the current stock had the adaptive cruise control option (option! On a £50k car ) The dealer told me it was "the chip shortage" . I could order one if I'm prepared to wait upto 18 months! No thanks.
I ended up buying another make. The Japanese and Koreans have suffered no such issues which is why I have a brand new car sitting on my drive now not in months to come. Come one Mercedes you need to sort this out. Adaptive cruise was standard on my new car as well not optional. Its a safety device not a trim option.
