My Immune system already discovered out I have eyes. My immune system has already attacked my nervous system, there for attack my optical nerve in my left eye. I’m blind completely in my left eye. This disorder is called NMO - Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) - AQP4 is a primary target of attack in B-cell–driven immune dysregulation1. It’s a harsh disorder that will continue to destroy my nervous system. It’s very been on chemotherapy regimen for 12 years to stop the progression.

What’s crazy about the liver is not only can grow back after having a sizable portion removed, but it grows back within a matter of weeks. I had a total left hepatectomy (liver resection) 5 years ago due to cancer which resulted in a month long stay between hospital and rehab, and by the time I got home it was mostly grown back. It would take some time for it to be fully functional again, but all things considered, it was all pretty quick!

Can confirm, you can, in fact, not only feel your organs reorganizing themselves, but you can also feel your hip bones contracting (quite painfully, at times) back into place each time you nurse your child. The process of nursing somehow triggers the organ and bone contractions.

I remember standing from my bed and walking a few steps and felt everything drop, and my lungs even took in air. I looked straight towards my midwife, and she already knew and just started laughing.

Another reason that human babies are so helpless is that it triggers a protective response in other humans.

Nope. Most women experience birth injuries after birth. Countres in Europe provide pelvic floor physical rehabilitation as standardized postpartum care. For some reason, Americans and their doctors, are completey oblivous to this.

You should do a video on how bad the American medical community is to pregnant and postpartum women compared to Europe.

Human gestational period is actually 12 months. We shortened it because it greatly reduces the risk of death to the mother. That is why for the first 3 months, babies are basically helpless blobs.

The reason why we know what a texture feels like to our tongue is because before we turn three we put everything in our mouth. Our brain remembers the texture but not the moment that we did it
