as someone who uses tricky samples fairly often I can say that this part most likely uses a heavily edited version of the tricky soundfont that was released, still sounds damn cool though

2 years later and i miss execution, this was a fire song and it got replaced by cycles

you can like cycles and not like execution but, for me personally, cycles is kinda, weird, it may be better but it doesn't fill the spot in my heart that execution gave me

This song filled my expectations, considering the fact that he's more creepier looking and more taller just fills me with powerful fear, and hearing the screams made it stronger, in other words, pretty good song and did a pretty good job at exceeding my expectations~!

1:01, i love both Cycles and Execution (even tho i prefer Cycles), but i really miss this part of Execution instrumental, its awesome not only cause sounds good, for some reason gives the feeling of playing a demonic bootleg of a Sonic game, but with the detail that its not a simple bootleg

Well, many are complaining about Execution being replaced by Cycles (late comment) but there's many reasons to think that was a good choice:
1) The vocals, since they were updating the game to a *better* version it wouldn't have been a good option to use vocals that were altered Tricky vocals, to make a good remaster, they had to use a fresh voice.
2) The sprites, not much to add here. Cycles's sprites are way better, background and Lord X's.
3) Lord X's personality is better potrayed in Cycles, showing him in control, and just mocking the player, like he's allowing you to play your game instead of his.
4) The first and final part of Execution is literally Thorns's, and even if it sounds good, it feels more like a filler to the song.
5) Most of the song are long notes, Cycles actually makes you focus on what you have to press.

Basically in order to remaster the song, and make a better version of it, they had a lot to replace since, it wasn't quite good, Execution sounds good, but I think Cycles outdones it by a lot.

This one is very cool.
His voice remind me of tricky by the fact that both are screaming (sonic voice in this one is actually crying sound effects from the sonic.exe game but still reminds me of tricky)
It gives a feeling of weakness, fear and incapacity near of sonic, Cuz he's scary, taller, (obviously) faster, stronger and blood thirsty.
