I’m back again 8 years later, this song is still amazing and I still don’t understand why Rise Records nerfed this song and the album. I’m also here to let you know that Alex Pablo and Jacob has basically reform Chelsea Grin under a new name called Ameonna. I wish they didn’t have to start over from scratch and could just resume being Chelsea Grin because they deserve all the popularity and attention that comes with it.

The note selection for the bass during the last run of the chorus is really well done and gives an eerie vibe, especially when you read the lyrics and how it changed from the first chorus. I’ve known this song for years now and I’m just now noticing that, really cool, hope someone else notices this too.

There are actually many differences with this version of the song than the version on the album (this video was posted like a month after the album came out but maybe this was like a demo-ish version). This one sounds way more raw and authentic and it’s probably ones of their best songs on Self Inflicted.

Chelsea grin is band that thru out the years and with different members never put out something I wouldn’t listen to. This particular record I first thought sucked ass but then it grew on me. And it grew on me hard lmao I miss Alex on the mic too

This version is way better. I remember when they first released this music, i thought it was a single, but then they released the album and did a whole new mixing with some new sounds etc... This version sounds more clear, the other one has alot of low-mids and makes it sound muddy :S
