The depressing part about adept killer isn’t the killers with weak powers or the killers with bad perks it the survivors that give up and you cant get enough hooks for the iri emblem when you are Iridescent rank

I wish they would just remove this "merciless killer" requirement, make it a 4k requirement and it would be much easier and more like the survivor adepts. I did all of the adepts and the killer ones were absolute torture sometimes.

The equivalent of this for survivors would be "Four Man Escape, you never got hooked, and you were chased by the killer for at least 90 seconds."

One tip that I've found to help alleviate the insta-down penalty towards the chaser emblem for many killers is to feed into borrowed time hits. Those hits will count as winning the chase for chaser and their mending action will not add towards the healing penalty that applies towards your malicious emblem. I don't believe there's a downside to hitting a survivor with endurance, which should happen even more often with the base kit changes in the next patch.

Hey Otz, have you ever thought about doing an adept win streak?

I wish they had it in the game, that you get bonus exp or bp or something for only running the three teachables. It would give people more of a reason to run perks that they would never use. It would give experienced players a little challenge with a reward (that would of course be the case in general but I tend to see more experienced players get bored and trying to find new things to do) and it would just in general change up some games (not saying it will change the whole game experience but it will definitely change one or another match)

How to get adept with ghostface:
1 get into a game
2 go into your power
3 you hear footsteps
4 you get snapped out of your power
5 the one who did this starts to teabag and click
6 you realized your power is taken hostage
7 get genrushed while desperately try kill the guy who is following you
8 end game begins
9 survivors are teabagging at exit gates
10 you watch them leave with 0 hooks
11 they spam ez at the chat
12(edit) you see them running prove thyself, unbreakable, dead hard deliverence and ds
13: the one who did that is a subtle cheater that targets you
Note:
This also works for hag, trapper and twins so enjoy getting bullied with your killer unless you are a nurse, freddy, dredge or spirit

Otz, I know this video is 3 months old and you won't ever see this but thank you. After over a week of trying and failing at Adept Doctor one game following your advice to the letter and I pulled it off. Thank you my man.

You posted this at a great time. I just got my DBD account on my XBox account, and now I am able to work on achieving these adept challenges. I know that I'm not the best at killers, but this guide is very helpful for someone even with over 2k hours. I've already got 3 survivors done, now I have to try to work on killers.

31:30 another great add-on for Legion is Stolen Sketch Book. After this video, I played a couple of games with the Never-Sleep Pills and easily 3-4k'd. It's definitely a slightly different playstyle and if the survivors run very early, getting your first hit in can be rough, but it snowballs so hard. Almost every chase ended with me chaining 5 hits and downing someone.

I run the pills almost every game now and if the survivors have a lot of items, I bring the Sketch Book. It acts a bit like Franklin's and can really mess up the survivors if they were relying on medkits/toolboxes.

Huh. Oddly convenient timing after me suffering many matches yesterday where I’m falling just short of the adept without really understanding what I’m doing wrong. With this in combination with grade reset, hopefully I can finally clear out the ones I’ve not gotten yet, thanks Otz!
