Nightcore Carry Me

It was late at night. when I carried the wood through the forest.
My cruel master told me to do it because i spilled his precious tea this afternoon.
the wood was heavy and so i took a short break.
But suddenly i saw a light in the dark.
I am a very curious person, and thus I followed the light.
I had already forgotten the wood, when I reached the lonely gate.
Someone placed it on a clearing.
The moon lit it in a mysterious light, suddenly a person caught my attention.
An old woman, she was laying beneath the gate and smiled when she saw me.
„Young girl“, she asked. „Could you please carry me home?“
„With pleasure.“ I answered without thinking and took the old woman on my back. „and where is your house?“
„There“; she spoke, and pointed through the gate. At this moment the gate began to glow.
it took me on a journey.
One, that surpassed my imagination.
