The best tribute to Judith would be to make 'We Are Australian' our National Anthem. RIP Judith

I am not an Australian. However, whenever I heard this song, there is an uncontrollable emotion swelling in me always ending up tears. That’s is how powerful the lyrics affecting me.

Surely this is a far more appropriate song for our national anthem that "Advance Australia Fair", the words of which have to be explained to our young children when they first learn it. Most people do not know the words of the second verse, whereas as' We Are One' is far more relevant in todays modern world, and everyone knows the words and feels emotional when they hear it, or sing it. A true comment on our multi-cultural society. Well done Bruce. Such great sentiment

I'm an American and I've always loved the Seekers all the way back into the '60s. I think this should be the Australian national anthem; the same way I believe that, This land is Your Land, should be the American national anthem. They both speak volumes.🇦🇺🇺🇸

I feel deeply that this will be our national anthem one day. No song brings more unity in my opinion. More than ever, we need this.

When I heard my 2 and 4 year old grandchildren singing this spontaneously as they played, I felt strongly that we should immediately make this our national anthem.

I've never been to Australia, and doubt i ever will. a 10 hr flight to America was more than enough for me. I'm English, and think that we have many patriotic songs here, which we do (quite old songs in the main). However "I am Australian" has got to be the most patriotic song in the world. So beautiful and moving, this Brit loves it. I've loved the sound of the Seekers since my early teens, and I'm now over 60. When I die i'd love to think that the pure magical voice of Judith Durham was the last thing i heard, absolute heaven.

One of the most amazing and moving songs ever written and worthy of becoming an unofficial national anthem.

Brilliant! I have heard Bruce say a greater power was guiding his pen as he wrote this song. It gives this American chills every time I hear it.
