Crypto is risky as many would say but I think the actual risk in Crypto is not investing, buying the capitulation isn't a tough call, but it is a very tough call to figure out what to do aside holding. I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2024 with 10k and I'm up with 27k in a short period of time...

Great video Jason. What are your thoughts on Bitcoin dominance. True altseason doesn't start till BTC dominance starts dropping. Last cycle, Bitcoin dominance topped out in December 2020.

Unemployment data can be skewed. For instance, I heard the latest data was up but only because of a hurricaine, that passes. Also, by the time a recession is officially announced, the worst of it is already over in the markets anyway.

1.Why did the market have V shape rebound? The BOJ "put". Japan said 'oops, sorry, won't happen again'(perhaps after a call from Jerome). It won't happen again until BOJ must defend Yen if simply to protect the citizens from debasement. With US$ declining this should alleviate situation for now but it will reappear.
2. Suggest comparing S&P charts from March-September 2007 to current March-August 2024.
3. With your 50 year chart of unemployment/recession suggest overlaying S&P charts. I think you will see a lag of S&P continuing up for 2-3 months after uptick and then heading down (I don't have the tools for this).
