I love the fact that in this modern era we can chose between hyper detailed or Lego style

I really love the meticulous design of the CAC, but the simplicity and more “Lego” feeling from GCC is great as well

I don't think the Rex figure will stay exclusive. Rex supposedly has a very specific headprint in the venator set: A bandaid on his inhibitor chip scar, like we see in the finale of clone wars. I strongly believe we'll see him again in a smaller, cheaper set, maybe related to the bad batch. And he wont have the same headprint, which will be the only difference. I'm betting 20 bucks on it!

I'm not a fan of CAC's super detailed figures, but I love their accessories, like the visors and backpacks. I will say that I haven't seen anyone else make clone commandos.

Great video man. Really appreciate you taking criticism in stride and looking at the pros and cons of both figures, even though some of the criticism (Me) was not very kind or understanding.

I'm glad there are options for great customs that are all better than Lego's official figures, regardless of the level of detail or style.

GCC is the one that looks like it was actually made by Lego, it's that good. While CAC looks more like a rip-off with goofy arm printing, full torso printing and full leg printing, which make it look like it's not even Lego.

I'm fortunate enough to know someone who is getting multiple Venators and is selling me the Rex and Yularen for cheap, that's prolly the only reason i've been holding out on getting a GCC Rex, but it is super tempting just because I love the 2020 style of clone so much. And as someone who doesn't really mind the helmet holes too much, I think I can wait for the official Rex. Back in the day, I used to love Clone Army Customs, but a lot of their new stuff just seems overly detailed now. Not to say it isn't high quality or looks bad, it's just not for me. I remember getting their 2013 P2 Commander Cody at a lego convention in my state and meeting Tyler. For the time CAC was the best it could get.

I actually wouldn't mind if CAC toned down the detail a little so it doesn't stand out as much from official Lego. I don't need 360 arm and leg printing, just good printing, if that makes sense, like more than GCC, but less than CAC. So, basically I agree with you.

I was stoked when CAC started releasing helmets separate from the figs...but when I saw the GCC Rex available in the shop, I jumped for the opportunity. Lego has had plenty of time to produce this level of quality for a figure and I personally wont be blowing $600 on a set for a figure I could spend $25 for and it still look more amazing than the official product. Great review!

Super glad Rex is rumored to be getting a microfighter. Whether its the Venator Rex, or a newer, less detailed one is still up for debate, but its a cheap way to get him while i save money for CAC's Rex, so i'll take it

I love that this video really shows how different GCC and CAC are. But both company's have a place in the custom market.
